is a division of the International Christian Associations, a ministry of Will Green, pastor of New Creation Assembly in Warrenton, VA. Will had been managing associations since 1994 when, in 2006, the Holy Spirit directed him to found associations specifically to encourage Christians. “I am a believer in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death on the cross, and the resurrection, being seated at the right hand of God. I also believe in owning your own business, either part time or full time, with the Holy Spirit as your guide.”
Inviting Christians to join any of the 9 associations, Will explains, “We’re here to educate our members in the partnership between Spirit and business, to encourage the success of one another, and to protect our members with various liability insurance coverages.”
Will Green has had much success in managing associations by negotiating benefits for its 70,000 plus members. Able to drastically reduce the liability insurance rates for its associations’ members, in 2005 he negotiated a discount health insurance benefit package at a savings of 40-60% over normal insurance costs. The same year Will organized business associations for different ethnic groups.
When the Holy Spirit touched Will, it was clear to him that tithing would be an integral part of the ICA mission. Not only is 25% of each membership set aside to go back to its members to help them fund their businesses, but 50% of all earnings are being allocated to go to ministries proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Our dream is to assist every Christian business owner to optimize their effort in developing their business serving Christ and His family,” Will adds.
According to Will, tithing is fundamental to spiritual law and a key principle of success. "Much of J.D. Rockefeller’s success came from his tithing as a young boy.
